This book was written by Eric Simmons. A first-time author. Eric has worked with kids in children's church at Victory World Outreach for a number of years. He has also worked with Children's Edutainer Shawn Brown with his Super Fun Show curriculum (www.superfunshow.com). The illustrations were done by Martinez Garcias. This book is for any parent that wants to teach their young child that we are all human beings and that no matter our color, we are one people with different personalities. It is special because of the concept that "We're All Ice Cream. I'm Just a Different Flavor". Children love ice cream and children love the names of the characters and how similar they are to the actual flavors. On the journey to the Great Ice Cream Convention the characters get to see other cones that are different from them. They deal with a situation where a group of cones want another cone to look like them, so they can be friends. Only to realize that them being different makes them special. The book is distinctive because there are so many ways a child can see life from the perspective of something they know and love, Ice Cream.
